Feminine architecture – Round table

on 22 March 2011, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

FONDATION POUR L’ARCHITECTURE - CIVA, rue de l’Ermitage 55, 1050 Brussels

Does architecture have a gender? What is a woman architect? What is her relationship to the city and the landscape? Are the projects entrusted to women architects gender-influenced?
While 40% of architecture graduates in Europe are women, few of them run their own agency.
This round table with eight women architects aims to generate reflection on the role of women in the world of architecture and to question preconceived ideas.
